It is a very easy car to drive.  It has the new common rail diesel engine which is the quietest I have ever owned.  With the power assisted steering it is effortless, and the very light operation of the foot pedals makes it a pleasure to drive.  Through the windows there is good all round visibility.  On most newer cars the backs tend to be higher making rear visibility not so good.  On the New Clio rear visibility is better because the rear window is lower.  This is the best tuition vehicle that I have owned making it so easy to drive and a more pleasant experience learning to drive.

ABOUT THE LESSONS

When having driving lessons you do not want to take yourself too seriously or it becomes too much like hard work.  You need to be able to laugh at yourself and see the funny side of things, especially when you make mistakes.  This makes learning much more pleasurable.  You will find that I am very relaxed in the car and I do have a sense of Humour.  So we will have some fun on the lessons as well as learning to drive.

ABOUT DAVID HOWES

I have been a driving instructor for nearly 20 years and consequently have a great deal of experience in teaching a wide variety of pupils, including those who are very nervous.  I am extremely patient and have a very placid temperament which helps greatly in this type of work. 

I am a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor(car), holder of a green badge.  This indicates that I am fully qualified.  You will notice that some instructors have only pink badges.  They are trainees and not fully qualified.

My goal is to teach you to drive, not just to pass the Test.  I take a pride in getting a pupil to the highest possible standard of driving within their abilities.  In this way you will cope with the Test more easily and be able to enjoy:
