Intensive Courses
Our intensive courses cover the above key skills and would normally be spread over two, three or four weeks according to the level of driving of the pupil. The pupil may be a beginner or have already had a number of driving lessons, perhaps already having had practise in a car. All these factors would affect how many hours tuition was necessary.
Keep in mind that to do an intensive course you would need to have taken and passed your Theory Test prior to the commencement of your training.
Refresher Courses
These courses are designed for those who, for some reason, have not driven for a length of time and consequently lack the confidence to go out in a car by themselves. The course would review the above key skills and would be tailored to the needs of the individual.

Pass Plus
Pass Plus is aimed at newly qualified drivers, especially young people. They are more vulnerable than they realise. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident within their first two years of driving than at any other time in their driving career.
While many life skills are learned by trial and errror, the consequences of error on the road may be catastrophic.
The course includes the following:
- Module 1: Introduction and Town Driving
- Module 2: All - Weather Driving
- Module 3: Out of Town Driving & Rural Roads
- Module 4: Night Driving
- Module 5: Dual Carriageways
- Module 6: Motorways.
The minimum requirement for Pass Plus is one hour for each Module, or in other words, 6 Hours for the complete course. You are not required to take a test to prove your competence on this course as this is assessed by your instructor.
Pass Plus greatly accelerates the gaining of experience for the new driver and in addition can give large savings on insurance costs.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE £60 DISCOUNT
- Be aged 17 - 19 and live in the KCC area(excluding Medway)
- Use an approved driving instructor registered with KCC.
- Register with KCC before starting the Pass Plus course to receive your unique Driver Reference Number. Your instructor will need this number before training. (The number is only valid for 3 months)
- Understand the cost of any additional training(more than 6 hours) must be paid for by you. (I find this is rarely necessary)
Theory and Hazard Perception
Generally this takes place in the car during the course of the lessons. Time can be taken to review certain questions as these arise during driving and pupils will be tested frequently to see how they are progressing in their studies. In most instances pupils are able to study for the theory in their own time. In exceptional circumstances arrangements can be made to give the necessary assistance.
For practise on mock Theory Tests click the link.
Attention to Hazard Perception takes place constantly throughout the duration of the in car lessons as situations develop while driving.
